105 Kids forced into Sex trade rescued by FBI

Here is an interesting article in CTV news today.

FBI Rescues 105 kids forced into sex trade. Although this focuses in the United States, this too is a large issue in our Canadian Cities.

Agreed! The RCMP, FBI and Canada Border Service Agency regularly work together on suspected cases of youth and female trafficking into the United States and into Canada for the sex trade. We are aware of cases involving Northern and Inuit youth as well. More information and discussion is needed on this - please add your thoughts! Thanks for posting.

What is the best way to present this information to youth? There are lots of views of this forum content, but few chats. We know its happening to youth, but few want to talk about it. Is the fear of retaliation that deep rooted? We need to find a safe, anonymous and confidential way for youth to be able to talk about what is happening, what's going on, and what supports and services they need so that youth are less vulnerable. What do you think folks??

It is not only happening in the Unite States but also even worst in the third world countries. It is considered as one of the biggest source of income for others. However, it is so sad that young women are involved and it defy them to enjoy their life instead. Government should try to get involved in this issue so that it will be stopped and no more innocent life will be a victim.

There must be a worldwide information dissemination regarding this issue. It is not a joke that many innocent young women are being involved with this heinous crime. The government should get try to involve with this so that it will be stopped and no more innocent lives will be a victim and for those victims they will be set free and live a happy life again....
