Hello everyone,

Do you know people in your community or your family who are or could be an alcoholic/drug addiction?

What are the signs that had you thinking that person has a problem?

What are the options to help that person? What have you tried or considered trying, if anything?

This post can be very sensitive but I do believe it is important to be able to reach out to other people for help. Maybe the ideas or stories posted could help you or you could help somone else.

I do ask that people be respectful to each other. Having an open discussion can be very helpful to some people but can also be emotional.

Even if you do not post, I wish everyone the best. This issue is rampant in many communities.
